How do I compare products?

In our website, you will see an “add to compare” button over each product photo. As you click this button, the compare widget will start to form at the bottom of the page. Once you are done choosing which items should be compared, click the compare button and the widget will take you to the comparison page.

Can I use my equipment in the rain/water?

Our products are weatherproof but not waterproof. Please keep out of heavy rain or prolonged exposure to water. 

How long do you need to charge the battery?

Most of our regular batteries are fully charged in 4-8 hours but we recommend charging overnight.

Do we have wheelchairs for left handed people? Can we interchange the joystick?

All joysticks are interchangeable.

Where do we charge the wheelchairs from?

Some wheelchairs can be charged directly from the battery and some can be charged from the joystick or both. Please consult your user manual for more details.

How do I charge my mobility scooter?

Please charge your scooter by putting the charger into the charging socket on the side of the middle fender.

Can I travel with my mobility scooter on public transportation?

Yes, there is no obstacle for you to use public transportation with your mobility scooter or wheelchair.

Are there weight restrictions for electric mobility wheelchairs?

Yes, weight restrictions for wheelchairs differ depending on the model. Please check the product page to learn more about each wheelchairs capabilities.

Is it possible to upgrade the battery for longer range?

Yes, we sell extended batteries for most wheelchairs and scooters but depending on the Watts of the battery, devices with a larger battery may not be compliant to airline regulations.

Are there any tips for extending battery life? 

Avoid recharging the battery after completely draining to extend the battery life. Please charge your device before the battery drops below 20%. The ideal battery life is highest when using at room temperature.  If the temperature is below 32F the battery life might be shorter and when the temperature is -4F or less the battery life might be as low as half or more less.

Can I add accessories to my mobility device for extra comfort?

We do not recommend unauthorized or third party products to be used with our own products due to the uncertainty of quality and other risks. Please note that any extra product added on the wheelchair or scooter will increase the total weight on the device.

Are there off-road tires available for my mobility scooter?

Currently we do not offer off-road tires for our mobility scooters.

Are electric mobility devices environmentally friendly?

Yes, in the sense that we do provide all replacement parts for our devices and there is a second hand market for our products, we believe that our products are a part of the solution.

How well do mobility devices handle snowy conditions?

Depending on the amount of snow and wetness of the surface it may differ. We don't recommend you to use the scooter on snow since these surfaces may melt or collapse.

Can I use my electric mobility wheelchair on beaches?

Depends on the surface. We always recommend you to use the wheelchair on even surfaces. We do not recommend use on dry or wet sand because of the risk of getting stuck in sand.

Are colors shown in your photos accurate?

We color correct the photos to look as accurate as possible. But the colors may look different depending on the color profile of your screen. Color on screens may look different even because of the level of screen brightness. 

Do you have a showroom or brick and mortar location?

We currently have a warehouse in Santa Ana/CA. You need to call or email us to make an appointment with us to see a product you are interested in.

How can I travel with my wheelchair, scooter? Is it airline compliant?

All Wheelchairs and Scooters using regular sized batteries are airline and cruise compliant. Some of the extended batteries are not compliant to TSA regulations, therefore not suitable for airline travel.

Can I purchase extra/spare parts?

Absolutely. Some of the extra/spare parts are listed on the website for purchase. If the extra/spare parts you are looking for are not listed on the website we can still help you. Please reach out to our Customer Support Team via email at or call at +1 (888) 622-6476.

How do I take good care of my wheelchair?  

Please do not use your wheelchair at a temperature above 104 F or below -4F. Also check all the bolts and nuts periodically (Every 3 months) and tighten them if needed. Also keep the plugs and other connecting parts in order so that the wheelchair works smoothly.

How do I take good care of my Battery?  Are there guidelines for safe battery usage?

Avoid recharging the battery after completely draining to extend the battery life. Please try to charge before the battery is below %20. The ideal battery life is highest when using at room temperature.  If the temperature is below 32F the battery life might be shorter and when the temperature is -4F or less the battery life might be as low as half or more less.

Can I use my mobility scooter in extreme temperatures?

Most of our devices have lithium batteries. Lithium batteries can be used in all seasons but the most optimal conditions for the battery is always room temperature. Please do not use your wheelchair at a temperature above 104 F or below -4 F. 

Can I use a different brand of charger for my mobility scooter?

We do not recommend using unauthorized parts or chargers with our products due to the hardship of quality control over a third party brand.

Are batteries all-season?

Most of our devices have lithium batteries. Lithium batteries can be used in all seasons but the most optimal conditions for the battery is always room temperature. Please do not use your wheelchair at a temperature above 104 F or below -4 F. 

Can I overcharge my mobility device's battery?

No, modern batteries do not overcharge. So there is no threat in keeping the battery on the chargers. However, the lifespan of your battery may be negatively affected by being on the charger too much. So we recommend keeping the battery levels between 20% and 80% for maximum efficiency.

Can I upgrade the controller or other components for better performance?

Some models using a manual joystick may be upgraded to a digital led screen joystick. Please contact our Customer Support for more details.

How do I dispose of my batteries?

Please do not dispose of this wheelchair or any of its components or batteries. Instead, please return them to our service center or follow your local disposal regulation.

What is the Prop 65 warning on my new wheelchair?

Prop 65 requires a warning label on all products shipped to California, and because Bangeran does not know where each product will ship at the time of production, each Bangeran product is labeled with a Proposition 65 warning.

Are there user manual materials available in multiple languages?

Do you offer rental options for electric mobility devices?

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer rental options for our products.    

Can I trade in my mobility device for a different model?

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer a trade-in option for our products.

What is the warranty on my product? 

According to our warranty agreement, all new products have a limited warranty. 

The battery and the joystick have a six months warranty. 

All other spare parts have a one year warranty.

Am I covered under warranty if I’m not the original owner of the product?

Unfortunately, the warranty only covers the original owner/buyer.

Do customers who receive the product as a donation or gift still qualify for the warranty?

Unfortunately, in these situations the products are not covered by warranty.

Why should I open a Bangeran account?

How do I use a coupon code?

All discounts on Bangeran can be activated with a specific coupon code, which usually has an expiration date. Can I donate my old mobility device to charity? 

Yes, you can. We would just like to remind you that a mobility device is a personal device. We recommend you to thoroughly clean your device before donating to protect yourself and others from exposure to any bodily fluids etc.

How long does it take to ship my order?

We ship as fast as 1-2 business days.

Can I track my shipment?

After you make your purchase, an email will be sent to you with the tracking number, so you can see where your order is.

Can you ship to a PO/APO/FPO Box?

Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO/APO/FPO Boxes.

Can I change my shipping address after I place the order?

It is easy before the order has been shipped. It is possible if the order has not been delivered. Please contact our Customer Support as soon as possible in these situations.

Are products covered by my insurance? 

We do not accept insurance reimbursements. You may contact your insurance provider for personal reimbursement.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery cost depends on item weight and location. Our website will calculate the accurate delivery cost during checkout.

Can we pick up the order from the warehouse?

How do I identify whether an Email is or is not from Bangeran?

All emails that Bangeran employees use are through our own domain. So all official email addresses end with “”. Please be cautious of scam emails.
