What are the distinct features?

Lite Wanderer is currently the most lightweight electric wheelchair we have with 31 lbs including battery.

Is this device travel friendly ?

All of our wheelchairs and scooters are designed to be travel friendly. When the scooters and wheelchairs fold up, it can put it in your trunk pretty easily. The scooter even fits in the trunk of a small sedan car. When it comes to Airline and Cruise travel it gets a little more complicated. All Wheelchairs and Scooters using regular sized batteries are airline and cruise compliant. Some of the extended batteries are not compliant to TSA regulations, therefore not suitable for airline travel. Please consult your user manual for more details.

Is the Lite Wanderer compliant with TSA and FAA regulations?

The main reason a device may or may not be compatible with TSA and FAA regulations is the battery size. The Lite Wanderer with Regular and Extended battery is compliant.

Do you need to take out the battery to fold the wheelchair?

No; you don't need to take the battery out.

When in manual mode how much resistance is there when it's pushed?

You should not feel much resistance. If you feel there is a lot of resistance, the wheelchair may not be in free wheel mode or the weight on the wheelchair may be more than recommended.

Storage life of a charged battery?

The typical estimated life of a Lithium-Ion battery is about one to two years or 300 to 500 charge cycles, whichever occurs first.

I turned the scooter on, but it won’t budge or go. What should I do?
