What are the distinct features?
Phoenix is equipped with the most portable battery we have. This becomes a huge advantage when traveling. The Phoenix also folds sideways.
Does it have a seatbelt?
Yes it has a seatbelt.
Is there any assembly required for this wheelchair?
It comes almost fully assembled. You just need to put the footrests in their place and put the joystick in its place and you are good to go.
What are the tire materials? Are they solid or inflatable like a bike tire?
Plastic. This model has 4 solid tires.
Do the armrests retract?
The armrests can be moved upwards easily.
How to fold the wheelchair ?
The wheelchair folds sideways. So first close the footrests and then pull the seat upwards and the wheelchair will fold sideways.
Storage life of a charged battery?
The typical estimated life of a Lithium-Ion battery is about one to two years or 300 to 500 charge cycles, whichever occurs first.
Is the Phoenix compliant with TSA and FAA regulations?
The main reason a device may or may not be compatible with TSA and FAA regulations is the battery size. The Phoenix with Regular battery is compliant.

When in manual mode how much resistance is there when it's pushed?
You should not feel much resistance. If you feel there is a lot of resistance, the wheelchair may not be in free wheel mode or the weight on the wheelchair may be more than recommended.
I turned the scooter on, but it won’t budge or go / or the joystick makes a beeping sound. What should I do?
There is a red latch on each rear tire. If you hear a beeping sound you need to pull those latches up. After turning the wheelchair off and back on again the sound should be gone. If it still doesn’t work you can always contact us info@bangeran.com

How do we install or remove the battery?
The battery is on the bottom of the wheelchair frame pointed upwards. It slides in and out. The battery is small and looks almost like a cordless screwdriver battery.
